PRINCETON WARRANTY INFORMATION (Lifetime Warranty Policy)
PRINCETON takes pride in the high quality and innovative design of the bag pack collection. The products are manufactured with special attention to materials and details, meeting high-quality standards. Before we offer any of our products for sale, it is put through stringent tests of strength, durability and reliability to meet the demands and expectations of frequent users.
This warranty covers not only manufacturing defects by us but also some specific parts and accessories of the bag pack. If production and/or material defect should be found during the period covered by the warranty, PRINCETON will repair the products at its own expense. There is no compulsory replacement of the defective product unless the decision is approved by PRINCETON management.
The warranty does not cover any damage due to wear and tear, negligence, abuse or mistreatment, changes in the fabric colour, exposure to extreme temperatures, abrasion, damage due to the product coming into contact with acids, solvents, water, or any damage caused by customer during usage. The warranty only covers all zipper heads, zipper tags, buckle/clip accessories, handle tear-off, and shoulder straps only. An internal defect of the bag caused by the consumer is not covered in the warranty. Apart from that, the defect on the zipper track does not cover in the warranty as well because both of these parts couldn’t be repaired once it is broken.
Nevertheless, for the above-mentioned causes, the damaged product may be sent to the PRINCETON headquarters office, we will fully cover the cost of repair if the bag pack is within the warranty period. The shipping fees from the customer to the PRINCETON office will be fully borne by the customer. Meanwhile, the shipping fees from PRINCETON to the customer will be fully borne by PRINCETON.
Consequently, the customer is responsible for taking the product to the PRINCETON office or through courier service, attaching the warranty certificate, fully completed, together with the receipt of purchase.
If any product or any part needs to be replaced and the colour or model is no longer available, PRINCETON will replace it with an equivalent product or spare part. However, if any product or any part of the limited edition products needs to be replaced, the original colour is not guaranteed.
The customer is responsible for any costs of delivering the product to our office, including the cost of packaging, shipping and applicable taxes.
The warranty exclusively covers the value of the product but not its contents.
IMPORTANT: IT IS ESSENTIAL TO INSPECT YOUR PRODUCT AT THE TIME IT IS RE-DELIVERED BY A COURIER COMPANY. IF ANY DAMAGE IS FOUND, IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO PLACE A CLAIM WITH OUR COMPANY WITHIN 7 DAYS.
SPECIAL PROMOTION/ PWP/ CLEARANCE ITEMS ARE NOT ENTITLED TO ANY WARRANTY COVERAGE. HOWEVER, WE DO PROVIDE LIFETIME SERVICES.
REPAIR POLICY
Our repair centre will determine whether the damage is due to a manufacturing defect. If it is a manufacturing defect, we will repair your bag pack at our own expense. If it is not repairable, we will order you a replacement bag pack. If they conclude that it is not a manufacturing defect, they will contact you with an estimate before making any repairs to your bag pack.
SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICE
In the event product purchased is beyond repair within the warranty period, the customer is entitled to the option of a new bag pack with equal value for a nominal processing fee.
Nominal Processing Fee:
A minimum of RM 50.00 would be charged for nominal processing fees.
The subsequent new bag pack will not be entitled to the supplementary service but the warranty will start anew.
